Well, IMHO yes and no. They have worked ok for me, I've used them
with UAE and VICE on Linux for a long time without problems.

But the build quality of those joysticks is utter crap.

Back in 2005 I bought a bunch of those joysticks (not from Amazon
though). Of the eight (8) joysticks I ordered, four (4) were dead
on arrival. Ok, I RMA'd the borken ones and got them replaced with
good ones. Another one broke after a few weeks. These joysticks
simply cannot take any rough handling unlike the original C64
version could.

They did come in pretty boxes, with ribbons and all. :)
