Hi all!

After 3 years of being physically separated by 750 miles from my C64c
and my 2 "flat" C128s plus all my 1990s CMD hardware and all my C=
floppies and all my C= magazines and programming books, et al... I
finally have it all back with me either in my apartment or in a U-Haul
storage unit very near to where I live.

I have a *lot* of floppies to convert to d64, d71 and d81 files for VICE
before the physical disks are irretrievably lost. They have been kept
in a very good, climate-controlled environment all these years and all o
my VHS tapes and audiocassettes are just as good for me today as they
ever were, so... I expect there's still time to succeed at this.

I do not intend to part ways with anything I have that is still part of
a well-functioning system - but I do have a lot of older hardware too
which I know I will no longer be needing.

I purchased a ZoomFloppy (sp?) in, I believe, 2013 or 2014 but was
unable to do anything with it. So if anyone can assist me with trying
to use it successfully in 2017 and 2018, their help will be greatly
appreciated.

I am very interested in reviving these old beasts and tapping them into
the latest, greatest hardware enhancements which have been invented
since the last time I seriously fired them up.

There is an excellent web page here which explains how to get the
separate chroma/luma signals from my machines sending quality output to
the HDMI input on my flat screen monitor. If I can accomplish that feat
of magic, I can probably part ways with my 3 1702s if there's a better
place than my storage unit where they can be used in this world.

One of my 1702s no longer works.
One of my 1702s still works perfectly.
The other of my 1702s still works but the picture is titled at a slight
angle which tends to irritate me. :)

I live in Lexington, KY. I assume the Louisville Users of Commodore of
KY are no longer active. Is Dale Sidebottom still onboard?

Myke
