This movie has had a limited release to UK cinemas and I saw it last
Wednesday. It also goes under the rather cringe-making title of 'Ancien
and the Magic Tablet'
Briefly, the heroine enters a fantasy world while taking a nap. Her
father is involved in a driverless car patents dispute with a major
car-maker. In the fantasy world, a kingdom where car-making is the major
industry is under attack by a giant robot-like thing. The princess there
has a magical computer-tablet.
As the movie progresses, the real and fantasy worlds get more and more
entangled and more parallels emerge.
It was fun, if a bit more child-centred than the recent 'In this corner
of the world' or 'Your Name'
