Are you using the 512K version of Mini vMac? I remember that this is one of
the games that doesn't work on a Plus or anything newer, and I think some
of the 512K upgrades may have also got upgraded ROMs... Your 512K ought to
work but maybe there is a hidden factor like a ROM upgrade preventing it.
If you think your disk might be bad, you could try the image at Macintosh
Garden:
