AFAIK this was discussed on the Apple II Enthusiasts Group a few months
back and it was determined that it WASN'T a Mockingboard emulator,
rather an ALF music player that utilises the Ensoniq on the IIGS. It's
still pretty cool though. Someone else (Mitch Spector) might remember
the details better than me.

To be more precise:
- the play.system can be configured as IIgs to play ALF songs through the ensoniq
- I don't own a S16 app as stated in the main page of the system file
