I was reading this thread ( https://groups.google.com/d/msg/comp.sys.apple2/YmFW0AbyqSU/ l4b6kvK1R7sJ) regarding the mockingboard emulator for the gs ensoniq and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the NoiseTracker v1..30 disk mentioned as I would like to check out this program that is able to play mockingboard files via the ensoniq. Preferably the unedited version that was not sector-edited by he whose name should not be mentioned in the light of day or the dark of night.

AFAIK this was discussed on the Apple II Enthusiasts Group a few months
back and it was determined that it WASN'T a Mockingboard emulator,
rather an ALF music player that utilises the Ensoniq on the IIGS. It's
still pretty cool though. Someone else (Mitch Spector) might remember
the details better than me.

This disk set does not include the ALF player for the IIGS. Playing the player says, "Special Apple IIgs version also available"

Do you have the IIGS version, Antoine?

To be more precise:
- the play.system can be configured as IIgs to play ALF songs through the ensoniq
- I don't own a S16 app as stated in the main page of the system file
