AppleWin Date/Time [message #343306] |

Hi Tom Charlesworth,
Could you please make AppleWin get the Date and Time from the Host computer each and every time it boots up. Having to do it manually each time is a real pain in the ass! If it knows the date and time then DOS, ProDOS, AppleWorks, etc., will know the date when saving files; then we won't see so many <NO DATE>s in CATALOGs of new stuff anymore.

I did that. I have not found anything about how to get AppleWin to retrieve the date and time from its host computer running Windows (98se or 7). ProSel Set Date/Time application requires input each time I reboot. It is a real pain!
How do I get AppleWin to do it automatically at every bootup?

Install the No-Slot Clock .SYSTEM program as the first SYSTEM program on
your boot volume. (Just as you would for a real Apple with a NSC
installed.)

Hi Marco,
Figured it out before you replied and/or before I got to read your reply.
Found a reference to NoSlotClock.BXY on C.S.A2 and downloaded it. Ran it and installed NSC. Works GREAT!
Downloaded the whole clock folder:
<ftp://public.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/images/hardware/clock>
anyhow just so I would have it all for future use.
Thanks for your help anyway,
James Davis
