You saw that correctly, Live-eviL is now 16 years old! One of the oldest fansub groups
still in operation, (I shall leave it up to you to find what the oldest is!) Although
many of the faces here have changed since this group was first founded, we are still
here and running! So stick around …

bliss notes: Live-Evil works mostly with old and unlicensed shows. One of there
more impressive efforts is the release of all 124 episodes of "Yawara, a Fashionable Judo Girl".
Remember if you will the efforts of AnimEgo which did an excellent production of the
first 40 episodes, then were denied for some reason the rights to the rest of the series
by the copyright holder in Japan. Once the license lapsed the Live-Evil crew completed
the series with some deficiencies in translation due to the specificity of Judo terminology.
But it required tremendous effort. Now they are gradually releasing Blu-ray versions of
the previously translated Yawara Episodes.
