The internal //c drive and the Disk II do not have identical signals.

Pin 19 on the //c is for the Drive Activity LED and on a Disk II it's another 12V. 12V is also at 13, 15 and 17.

You can't plug into that port.
Get yourself one of these:

However, depending on which ROM version your IIc has you may or may not be able to boot from it.
