“Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism” is an adaptation of a manga from Shounen Ace manga magazine. This is a comedy fighting anime about a tough guy who transfers into a private high school where all the girls are armed and there is a five girl martial arts squad who maintain harsh discipline on any boy who enters the school. This Tough Guy is different and can stand up to the martial arts girls, potentially changing the dynamics of the school.
The first episode starts out running from its premise and quickly goes from idiotic to moronic to totally brainless. The only surprise was that there was so little fan service. As with any shounen fighting anime the voice actors all yell their lines. Also, as with many shounen fighting anime, the budget is small so the fighting animation uses lots of shortcuts.
My main reactions were: this is totally stupid, and, I just don't care. I'm not watching more and my final rating is D+, with the “+” there because the male protagonist isn't a wimp.
