This is a document created with some kind of word processor circa 1989 or
1990. What app did it? It is not MacWrite, and it is not MacWord.

Please respond here and/or email me at pete@thefoleys.com

Thanks!

It looks vaguely familiar, but I cannot place it. It is definitely not WriteNow or BBEdit — just double-checked those on my SheepShaver install.

Sorry for the truncated message.

The application is MacLink Plus and the very last version for OS X is able also to tell what kind of file it is, besides being able to convert it.

Try to see if it is abandonware.

The older version for system 7 and os 8 and 9 were able to just to, but the OS x version of maclinkplus tells you a lot of info on the unknown files.

Can you determine the creator/type four-character codes? If nothing else, ResEdit can show them.

Use ResEdit to open the file to see the type and creator codes.
