I have been working on a java version of visicalc and needed some test data.. I have a book called Visicalc Home and Office Companion which contains 52 example spreadsheets, but I couldn't find them online anywhere. So I typed them in, fixed a few bugs along the way, and uploaded them to asimov.
If anyone knows of any other visicalc spreadsheets available online, I'd appreciate knowing the links.
Cheers
Denis

Sure Antoine, why not. I think my program is finished, but it never hurts to have the original source for reference.

I have needed to interpret old Visicalc spreadsheets before - your
program sounds like a great way to do that interpretation on modern
hardware. Is it available in a repo somewhere? I would be interested
in adding an 'export to csv' function if you didn't have one already.

Hi all, thanks for the replies. My email is dmolony at iinet dot net dot au.. The code is on github, it's part of my DiskBrowser. When viewing a disk, just select your spreadsheet and it will interpret it and display the result. You can't change anything though, it's just the output.
The browser is here - https://github.com/dmolony/DiskBrowser
An export to csv function should be trivial to add. I already have that function for the disk catalog.

Hey Antoine,
I´m from Brazil and own a bizarre Apple II clone, which is not fully compatible. I would love to port Visicalc to it. Would mind sending you disassembly to me? ramurti@gmail.com
Thanks!
