It has a 9-pin CGA output with a bank of switches for using either an IBM or Apple Color CGA monitor. Any other ACE 500 owners out there? Should/does this computer support color video over composite? If so, what should I do to troubleshoot why I'm only getting B&W on the TV?
Thanks.

It sounds like you're either missing the color burst (graphics mode) or the
clock frequency is a little off, causing your composite monitor not to
recognize it as a burst. (This could also be the monitor's crystal being a
little off, but that's less likely in my experience.)
