It looks as if it is true that there is a season 2 of 'Shingeki no
Kyojin' in work. At least it is the impression I got from a an
interview, which is available at sankakucomplex with Tatsurou Araki.

There is also a trailer, which shows that this season 2 is possibly
following the ongoing manga.
