8BitDo has a retro Bluetooth gamepad controller specifically designed
to celebrate Apple's 40th anniversary. It come in the old Apple raibow
logo colour, has a mini Apple II model as as a stand, and Limited
Edition packaging modeled after an Apple Disk II floppy drive. It even
works (via a their Retro Receiver dongle) with a real Apple IIc.

It has passed the Kickstarter goal, but isn't listed as purchasable on
the 8bitdo.com website yet.

The Retro Adapter AP40 only simulates three PDL values, so it's actually digital.
But before Chris Torrence comes around to state otherwise, the game pad "does work" with most Apple II games, since only a few really require the analog values of the Apple Joystick.
So, if you want to buy it to play Choplifter, this is not for you. For everyone else that wants to have a nice Gamepad for use with emulators and Apple II alike, it is really cool.

And here's the obligatory link to my review of the AP40:

Along with a more technical review:

Finally, you can buy the gamepad here:

Like cybernesto said, the AP40 works well for emulators and Apple II games that only require digital left/right/up/down (like Lode Runner), but works poorly for games that require analog controls.

Cheers,
Chris
