Do this, plug it in wait, unplug it, wait 10 seconds, plug it in, and mash
the power on button... its a common issue with the PSU, the 5v Standby rail
is crap, also, the cap accross mains likes to explode violently.

Dear William - I have spent money and many hours and tried a lot to get it
working without success. I kept the harddisc and memos for my LC ( it
works).

No hard drive? Never saw a speaker like that in the drive bay of a IIci.
Back when I had a IIci loaded up with a 66Mhz PPC 601 and 128 megs RAM plus a big hard drive (IIRC as much as a gigabyte. I'd put my full height 500 meg in a IIsi because that's the only Mac it would fit) I did a 3D design of an addon to fit between the case and lid to mount a CD-ROM. I never made it, was thinking about using sheet metal.
With 3D printers available all these years later it would be pretty simple to make. Surprising that no company in the late 90's made anything like that, especially when there were many "second story" addons that mounted atop the IBM PCjr.

William,
I have checked fright costs and it will come up to $100 to $150. I don't
think it worth to ship it.
