Hi Typers and Readers,
BAR LEMON HEART manga
Alternative Name:BAR レモンハート; BARレモン・ハート
Genre(s):Comedy, Seinen, Slice Of Life
Author(s):Furuya Mitsutoshi
Artist(s):Furuya Mitsutoshi
Status:Ongoing Bar Lemon Heart 4 will coming next
Rank:12602th
Bar Lemon Heart Manga Summary:
A series of rather comedic stories about an eponymous bar, its
owner, two regular patrons, and the oddballs that stroll through its doors.
So far as I have read it is about the bartender with an
encyclopedic knowledge of booze education his uninformed customers
about the origins and meaning of the names of various alcoholic
beverages.
The funniest part is the customers lack of retention
of information. This is educational in the same way the long
series "Oishinbo" educates about traditional Japanese food and
its proper preparation. So far the series has not touched on
the premier Japanese drink, saki. Of course in "Oishinbo"
that topic is covered in great detail.
And One Snowshoe has done the hard work of bringing
this to our attention.

Lemon Hart tends to introduce one alcoholic beverage per episode. I don't
drink much so I am not sure if what they drink in Japan is drastically
different from what you can get at an American liquor store.

Well Lemon Hart Bar has the very widest selection of the finest
distilled liquors. Most American liquor stores have some excellent
distilled spirits but the most space on the shelves is likely to be
bargain brands adequate to intoxicate but with few claims to be
fine in quality.
Back to Lemon Hart the Chapter 5 is excellent and about
not a tasteless drunk but a widow. Very touching.
