oh indeed.
seamus [paul derbysh(i)re] has had an almighty free run in tv groups, to the degree your
TFS would require many issues of the same hat size in rainbow colours, as a daily selection!

but i joculate in waste...for i post to highlight a quirk of paul's that many miss.
a quirk that is contrasted starkly here in the tv groups.
if i might indulge myself as a "piggyback" to your post <laughing@u.kook>??

it goes like this....
the tv groups have as diversified a spectrum in held opinions as did many a now defunct
"social" group. we (tinw) have them all, from the quite obtuse to the most conceding,
and on all topics from child raising to child pampering (politics). yet an acknowledged
harmony exists...there being few flame threads on the topics brought to the group by
switching of topics in subthreads, from an initial tv related post.
the exception occurred when a thread was "seamused", with the socks of paul flying out
of the draw. whether it be bizarre claims of terrestrial twists to a tv topic, comment on
any discussion around computer software (windows/linux/mac), platform preference
(OS2/windows), gamer coding (or any client/server operative), political views exchanged,
higher science discussion (linked to tv usually) ...any and many more, paul had to have
two things satisfied before quiet resumed - the top post count and the last word.
without paul seeing he had "won" the threads went on to boring oblivion.

i am sure those technically enabled will endorse my noting the post count for r/a/tv
has dropped from some 900 posts per 24 hours to around 300 posts since the socks of
paul have been largely quieted these last weeks. if nothing else sticks as an indicator paul
has to be the most prolific lamer in usenet history, it has to that single fact that in just
one group his "last word" mantra being demolished has largely stabilized a full on working
news group.
so it should be each and every poster has an opinion expresses that opinion and accepts
it being held in whatever regard the audience washes from the discussion. paul has always
and will always need to upset that balance the only way he knows how in introducing
prevaricators as "fact"...boosting his post count as the lie is howled down.
i am sure those following his hopping from foot to foot (using whatever resource) are
well aware of that 'strategy'.

i post the obvious to engage the attention of those who simply watch on in mild curiosity
without any intention to vote for any nominee in the forthcoming k00k awards.
the bottom line being...without a k00k award to refer to in future interaction with paul
derbysh(i)re it is going to be difficult to hose down his "logic"...that is what the noise is about.
proving, for all time , paul derbysh(i)re is a full blown kook, has been for many
years, unrecognised. paul does not want his real name associated in any way with his
usenet posts, there is reason for that to be found in knowing the rube "outer filths"
those he cannot best. paul is most concerned those who he has abused in that way may
well take recourse (redress) in real life, through legal action. a waste of effort (paul is
the epitomized busted ass ward of the State) all that could be done is to have paul known
by his name adorned with a k00k award....or several as the vote might result.
that in and of itself will quiet the dweeb down considerably, permanently.
as "Seamus McRae" paul vamoosed from the free news server group on receiving
his CNotM award...so there is precedent as an example of what could be achieved.

be aware the vote is monitored for sock puppetry, the esteemed FNVW owning the
eagle eye of the experienced. so it is any *person* can vote who owns a posting
history, verifiable, as do many who have engaged with a seamus troll in the past.
those who might wish to vote not using their known usenet identity should ask if
including a pet "seamus quote" (verifiable) would weight their vote in favor of
acceptance under a new non-de-plume... vote early and vote often!! 8-D

..... jes saying like.

name kuseijin From 2012, I think. Some kind of cohort of `WJ' perhaps, though it's unclear.
Ed Strolek From early 2012. This may be the same person or machine as Cthun: certainly
he/it shows some of the same repetitive aggression.
Cthun From early 2011. Might not be a human based on some very formulaic & repetitive
responses: if they are human they seem to be ill. Seems to have leaked in from some
other group. May be the same as "Deeyana", and also someone who posts as "Seamus McRae"
Deeyana Active from early 2011. A Clojure enthusiast who has probably done more
damage to the language than any other individual. Splendidly unaware of both the
history of Lisp-family languages and their own ignorance of it. Treats any disagreement
as a personal attack. It may be age, but I find these people impossibly sad: what
motivates them? what is missing from their lives that they have to strive so hard
against some monster of their own imaginations? There are plenty of things which
actually are wrong with CL, after all, but all they will succeed in doing is
hardening attitudes. I suppose it is because they are mad.
