Hi,
I'm Thimo Graef, Lord Chaos, from Germany and I have several ATARI 800 XL and XE computers and I'd like to start a Kickstarter campaign and raise funds for creating an organisation that develops games on real old hardware, that means the limited old ATARI 800 computers. I think today's games often focus too much on graphics and stuff and I prefer the classic games.
Anyone interested?
I'm a programmer myself, but I'm not very good at making graphics or music.
I'd also port the games, developed on classic ATARIs, to PC and sell them. My idea is that developing on limited hardware makes you more focus on the gameplay, because PCs have gigabytes of RAM and powerful CPUs.
If anyone is interested, I'd give it a try on Kickstarter. Just don't want to make a fool out of myself starting a Kickstarter campaign, that will end on kickended.
