Really looking forward to this, I've re-read the first 3 volumes a
few times, just to get a fresh "hit" of the story. The mangaka
has a real knack for making you feel for the characters, and even
the least pleasant of them isn't that bad, at least so far. There
are a couple of scenes in the first volume that made me choke up a
bit, they were that touching.

This one is pre-sold, if they're still making DVDs by then...

Cap.

Hmm, presumably more than rumous -- the live-action movie seems to be
scheduled to open in August...

http://movie.goo.ne.jp/contents/movies/MOVCSTD17879/index.ht ml

One of the stars is Ashida Mana (芦田愛菜), the 6-year old that as far
as I can see is in like 80% of all Japanese movies and television
shows these days ... really she seems to be _everywhere_.
