Hi Readers and writers,

Time for another, Which manga are you reading?

Personally I am reading:
Shiori Experience - Jimi na Washi no Hen na Oji-san
Yugawara-kun wa Ooyamada Danshi Koukou de Moteru Houhou o
Kangaeteita ga
Vagabond
Change H
Paradise Residence
Watashi ga Motete Dousunda
Oiran Girl
Shishunki Bitter Change
Mizutama Honey Boy Manga
Shinozaki-san Ki o Ota Shika ni! Manga
Blood Lad Manga
Kore ga Koi to Iu naraba Manga
Tenkamusou Edajima Hirayatsuden
Madoka and Mei's Secret Workshop
Hope!

Not saying I love all those above but I do want to see what
the author/artist does with the story..
But I do like Watashi ga Motete Dousunda. Hope
Mizutama Honey Boy Manga, Shinozaki-san Ki o Ota Shika ni!.
Genshiken Nidaime of course(next printed volume on order) and
Hidamari no Ki. Next month I will be buying the final volume
of Showa:A (manga)History of Japan(under the reign of Hirohito)

I think that Vagabond and Tenkamusou Edajima Hirayatsuden are
great works beyond my criticism. The artwork though of Vagabond
is wonderful. The dynamism of the Tenkamusou Edajima Hirayatsuden
is incomparable.

I have to limit my reading time to no more than a chapter
a day of these so these will last a while.

bliss

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I really like Vagabond and have read up to volume 35. However, I don't care
for all the killings for the sake of perfecting one's swordsmanship. Also,
I don't like it that whenever Musashi encounters someone stronger than him,
they let him live (and come back) but Musashi kills pretty much everybody in
sight.

I am into monsters so I recently read

Hakaiju
Monsters of various sizes just crawl out of ground in Tokyo and start eating
people or destroying building. The government appears to have anticipated
this but their secret weapons don't have much effect. Surprisingly, the
author has been doing a lot with such flimsy premise.

Terraformars
Yes, it's spelled that way. 500 years ago, they sent some lichens and
cockroaches to Mars to jump start its ecosystem. When humans eventually
arrived at Mars centuries later, the cockroaches have evolved into
human-size and much stronger and faster so they must infuse humans with
various insect powers in order to survive. This is like everyone is
Spider-Man and how the insect powers are used is rather clever.

Azumi
I am still trying to gather the first series. It's about a girl trained
from infancy to become an assassin during early years of Tokugawas
Shogunate. The premise is that by eliminating key figures, they could bring
peace to the entire country. The author really makes her go through some
serious ordeals and challenges.

I am also disappointed that the author of Berserk has started another series
and leaving the fate of Berserk in limbo. This series has been dragged on
since 1989 and is only at volume 37 but final few haven't developed the main
plots much so it feels like the author has no ideas how to wrap up the
story. Poor Casca has been insane for good twenty-five years now.

I also watched the animated version of Kiseiju recently.
