Just finished reading "Whispered Words" formerly known as
"Sasameki Koto" volume 1

This is either Yuri or shojo ai. Either way it is fine stuff.
We have Murasami ace karate star aka "Violence" Murasame.
Kazama on whom Mururisame is fixated. M. gave up karate
as K. did not think it was cute. But they are best friends.
When M. gets too upset by K.'s antic she works out at the
dojo her family owns which estate is where she, her father and
brothers live. And we have the standard events, back to home
town to visit graves, culture and sports festivals.
We have numerous cute girls on whom K. become fixated from
time to time. One is a very cute German girl and young karate star.
One of the girls on whom she is fixated for a while is a boy in their
school.
A radical feminist rich girl who is very competent, thank you ,and her
girlfriend of whom the family does not approve due to class line violation.
Hilarity and minor heartbreaks ensue.

Now you anime fans can find "Sasameki Koto" anime, a season drawn from
the rather long but too short manga.

The anime is too short too but still 13 episodes are better than none.

The manga is by Takashi Ikeda published by One Peace Books out of NY
and printed in Canada. <www.onepeacebooks.com>
I got my copy of the 1st volume from TSRI but I
am having trouble restraining myself from tearing out to the Nihon Machi
Kinokuniya manga shop and getting volume 2.

As it turned out I could not restrain myself and got Volume 2 from the
Kinokuniya manga shop. It was less than a dollar more than
the tsri price. So I dove right into it yesterday afternoon and
finished it fairly early in the evening.

It does not finish the story! Volume 3 should be out soon
and I have ordered it from Amazon since TSRI did not show a pre-order
for it.
In the course of checking the scanalated version to be sure I
was not mis-remembering the ending I found a note about volume 9 which
I did not have.
I will have that volume shortly.

But that is how good this High School baby 'bian story is and
by the way there is a heterosexual low key romance by adults in the
background of the last few chapters.
I have to admit that I was tempted to go for same day delivery on the
paperback of volume 3 but I resisted despite Valentine's day.

I still have about 3 volumes of manga "I Have Already Read" on the way
some not yet officially published.

bliss
way.
