I would like information, gossip, rumors, and speculation on how long
ATARI will continue to make, market, and support the 8-bit line.
Also, how large a change in the operating system was made from the 800 (old)
machines to the 130XE machines (references would be nice).
I've not heard any rumors one way or another but have not seen any ads
for the 130XE or the peripherals by ATARI-I may just have missed them but
it seems that with all the ST and TT talk, us poor 8-bitters may be left
out.
Lastly, would it be feasible to not split the two groups but to put the
mail in digest form where you send out muliple volumes with some general
info., some 8-bit specific, and some ST-TT specific mail. This would make
life much easier since I currently receive mounds of stuff I only skim
when I have time.
Lastly a short plea for less mines-better messages and more constructive
comparisons, uses, etc.
   Thanks, Scott Zimmerman
