There have been discussions about the following questions on the
net but I don't recall seeing any definitive answers. I'm toying
with the idea of trading up from my 520 (with dsdd drive and
1 meg upgrade) to a 1040 and the answers to the questions
below will probably tip the balance one way or the other.
Also has anyone seen any page composition software for the
ST yet?

 1. Is there a usable (correct voltage and sufficient drive) ntsc
    composite video output on 1040's?

 2. Is atari going to bring out a blitter chip for the 1040's and
will it be possible to retro-fit it to current 1040's?
