Hello all

Power Mac G4 Quicksilver (2002) 800mhz, OS10.4.11 (Tiger).

I used to play windows media files (.wmv) before I had to do a
complete reinstall after a disk crash.

I thought it was via Real Player but that just gives me error -2048.

My Quicktime is version 7.6.4

Can someone advise what I should be using, please?

TIA Ged

You need Quicktime and an OLD version of Flip4Mac, I think. I have a collection of MacAddict disks at home (sadly none here, or I could search the index) but I think they may have had version from back then.

I was able to play some old, old WMV files with Quicktime 5, iirc (another thing I got from the MacAddict disks :-)
