I remember a few years ago seeing a web site that listed over a dozen people who did lettering for DC over the years, like Ben Oda and Milt Snappin, giving samples of their work to help people identify the lettering in Silver Age DC comics.
I was trying to search for that site on Google, as part of an attempt to identify a "font sample" (it ultimately turned out the font sample was lettering from All-New Ghost Rider issue 4, and that might have been hand-lettered, or made using an internal font belonging to Virtual Calligraphy) presented on a forum.
While I did a lot of Googling on various items, as well as using the What The Font feature MyFonts a couple of times, and browsing the Blambot and Comicraft catalogues... and ultimately, by using the text of the font sample to identify its source, I uncovered the secret... that particular web page doesn't seem to turn up high enough on the keywords I can think of using to be found.
(I bookmarked it, but I'm using a different computer now.)
Does anyone recall the site I'm thinking of?
