NNNNNnnnooooo....! As if having JJ "the Talentless Destroyer of
Franchises" Abrams in charge wasn't stupid enough, now looney Tom
Cruise might have a cameo (having Temuera Morrison in the Prequels was
bad enough!) This is from today's local newspaper ...

Cruise talks to director about cameo in new Star Wars
-----------------------------------------------------
Tom Cruise has reportedly met Star Wars director JJ Abrams
in London to discuss the possibility of a cameo appearance
in Star Wars: Episode VII.

A film insider told the Sun newspaper that: "Tom [Cruise]
has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ
[Abrams] and some other people from Star Wars over the
weekend.

On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and
drinks at the Belgravia Hotel.

"JJ directed Mission Impossible 3 and loves working with
Tom whenever he gets the chance.

"Losing Harrison Ford [to a broken leg] is going to set
things back a little scheduling wise and there's some time
to play around with."

The film has already been the cause of intense excitement
from fans, as Ford is joined by original Star Wars series
castmates Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew.
The veteran stars will be joined by Oscar-winning actress
Lupita Nyong'o, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver,
Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von
Sydow, who will continue filming scenes without Ford while
he recovers. The injury occurred after Ford, 71, was
crushed by a door at Pinewood Studios on 12 June.

Star Wars: Episode VII is likely to be the only Star Wars
film that JJ Abrams directs after it was reported that
Looper director Rian Johnson would direct Star Wars:
Episode VIII and Episode IX.
