Thanks to your help guys - the first cover has now been fully restored:
http://e4aws.silverdr.com/project64/mapc64/
and became part of the project’s repository as fully scalable, editable
SVG (included when you download the archive or when you check the repo
out.
Obviously I don’t expect anyone to have ideas about what Pantone®
colours they used back then but this can be easily adapted if/whenever
this information becomes available (which I doubt ;-)

Scans are available, of course. But this book seems to be basically a
commented ROM disasembly. I believe we have already better ones and
already in pure source code text/plain (which we plan to add to the
repository too) so except checking if some comments are not better
written there, I don't see much of added value in processing this one.
OTOH we're currently processing the "incdos". It goes quite fine so
far. I believe the headaches will start when we get to the ROM Appendix
;-) Once incdos reaches 1.0 - we may think of another book to process.
You're of course more than welcome to join ;-)
