Better than trying to read the stuff put out by Spore
here on my laptop. Has a whole different impact when I am
not trying to scroll to the right part of the page.
The inside cover page has picture of Oguie with
the Author´s name underneath which is suggestive of the
identification of the author with the character. Both
are Character and Author are over-flowing with visual
story-telling creativity.
This is the beginning of Oguie´s presidency
and the usual show is on to try to get new members of
which 3 will stick.
The whole gang shows up to a party at Oguie´s
except for the hard striving Tanaka.

Well I have told you a bit more perhaps than
I should. But I am not that far into the story.

Waiting for volume 2.

Waiting for volume 2 with ´bated breath.

PS sorry if the original post flashed by but I saw
that I had written the wrong name of the non-attending
sempai. Had to cancel it twice to get it where I
felt comfortable but noted no errors until it was
on its way to Usenet,

For historical reasons, very few servers respect cancels, so almost
everyone will have seen all three posts. (In other words, don't
even try to cancel a post--it's a waste of time.)

Yes but it lets me get the erroneous posts off my
computer. I am sorry if it does not,
for as you say historical reasons, help others as much.
Speaking of history the Amiga OS and YAM (Yet Another
Mailer) and other tools that I used let me delete postings that
I did not want to see. Since the Amiga quit working I have
to see a lot more spam a lot longer not to mention the
trolling posts. I could just delete them on the Amiga.
Of course the memory management was not and the disks were
quite limited in size, my last one was 3.4 GiB, so all
was not heaven there.

To keep closer to topic, Genshiken Second Season
volume 1 is too short, read cover to cover too soon and
now the wait is on for the volume 2.

I wonder if Mr.Watson has entered Angela Burton
and Ohno into the Being Upfront site?

What Amiga were you using? IIRC you mentioned there was a users group
or a repair shop in your area for Amiga's. I have an Amiga 500 with a
GVP memory/hard drive that clips on the end of the 500, tho the hard
drive is not recognized anymore, or it not working. I also have a
working Amiga 1200 IIRC, I bought it on EBay, it came with one of thos
cards that runs a fater version of the 68000 processor, 68020 or
something like that (sorry for the faulty memory, it is boxed up in the
garage, As it would not run the emulation for the 500 software (games),
on the co-processor card, that I want), and while it will use a VGA
monitor, it does so only in trough the co-processor card. The 500 games
will run on the 1200 but only from diskette,(the hard drive is through
the co-processor card) and this is not an improvement on the 500. Let
me know if you think there is anything I can help with (Oh, remembered
the co-processor card run a MAC emulator, but the MAC software that came
with is is pretty useless (lol)). I live in Florida, so trips around
the corner are out of the question as IIRC you are in or near SF.

I have an Amiga 2000b with a 68060 running when it runs,
AOS 3.9. The only thing holding me back from trying to get it
running is my lack of endurance. My back muscles start going
into spasm and I have lots of other stuff to do to provoke them.
I used to be a member of the local Amiga group but it folded
despite my efforts when the new owners did not arrive on time
after the bankruptcy of CBM. I could go on at rancorous length
about the shenanigans at CBM ownership and top management but
why bother. I have a better machine with Linux and when I
first got it several years ago I was perfectly happy. Of
course I gotta find the energy to go test the usability of
the new Asus Transformer 700 tablet with the 1920 x1200
resolution with the stuff I look at so much of the time.
But I will keep your kind offer in mind. Actually
I want to fix the 2kb so I can give it to a UG in the valley
before I am not around to do so.
