Hi Gang,
Don't know about you, but if I want to get ignored, I post a note on the
MacIntel group.
The G-Group is always good to respond, so… can someone perhaps tell me who
the List nanny is for the MacIntel group and I can reach them to find out
why I never get a response and my posts, well, don't post?

If you'll permit a one-generation-off emergency query, I can ask a quick
question that I posted on the MacIntel last note that got subsequently
"ignored":
Is a SATA III hard drive compatible with a 2006 (non-unibody) 17" Macbook
Pro?

Many thanks in advance,
Dana

You will have no issue with a SATA III drive. Good luck!

At the risk of extending the above OT message ......

As a long-time subscriber to numerous LEM Groups (Lists), I am constantly reminded that the management of these Groups is at the convenience and discretion of the Group Owner (List Mom) and the volunteer Group Managers (List Nannies), all of whom have their own lives, careers, needs, problems, and of course daily schedules.

I do not believe that any Group Manager is in the business of ensuring responses to inquiries for assistance.

Anyone who is dissatisfied somehow and expects, or even demands, instant service for his posts may wish to read the recent article by the Owner of all LEM Groups:
<http://lowendmac.com/2013/how-you-can-support-low-end-mac/>

By the way, even though all LEM Groups have become relatively inactive, there is a MacBook Group specifically for discussions about hardware issues of MacBooks and MacBook Pros.

Fabian
