I've just begun to see TV ads showing a mock-up of the Atari VCS
convertor for the Coleco-vision game machine. I take this to mean
that they are close to trying to sell it. I say close, because
I have also heard that Atari is suing Coleco for essentially copying
the VCS hardware. Some store owners have heard that they may
never see the Coleco adapter.

I've also heard that Atari is working on a 2600 adapter
for their new 5200 (It truly is a 'Super-System'!).

With respect to joysticks, I've tried store versions of both
machines, and really liked the true joystick on the Atari, while
the Coleco had an awful feel.
