The Vectrex Arcade System is a home video game using vector graphics,
like the arcade Asteroids game. I first saw this at the US Festival,
but the people there said it was not available to the consumer.
I recently saw Vectrex available at a local home video game store.
Price: $200, $35/game cartridge. For this you get a roughly 10" diag.
screen, and a separate module connected by coiled cord with a
self-centering joy-stick and 4 action buttons. Vectrex comes with
one game (Mine Storm) built in, and there appear to be 12 other
games available on cartridge.
Before I buy one of these, has anyone else bought or extensively
used a Vectrex yet? I am very impressed with it right now.
