So, are they going to put out more sci-fi mike
episodes on DVD? The DVD releases that have
been coming out look like part of the anti-mike
conspiracy, or specifically, the anti-scifi-mike
conspiracy. I like mike, even though he's a
communist, he can still make me laff when he's not
waving the red flag. Danger Death Ray is good
on youtube, but it'd be better with DVD quality.
More scifi-mike please.

Well, the impression I have is that a bunch of Sci-Fi channel
episodes are complicated because they were Universal International
productions and whoever owns Universal this week is so touchy about
things like people seeing some of the many, many awful films they'd
made.

I had the strange impression that Danger!! Death Ray ---
which is special to me as one of the first episodes I'd seen ---
was scheduled for an imminent DVD release, but I can't find the
news article saying that (or, really, much on the mst3kinfo.com
site that came from the blog-style entries) so maybe it was just
another hallucination, like that time I kept finding black pages
where Wikipedia was supposed to be.

I slightly apologize for my post, as yesterday I watched
the Brute Man episode on DVD, part of the latest release
and it turned out to be a Sci-Fi episode, with that
late-mst3k-era-mikey goodness. Still, more of these episodes
are needed on DVD. The mike crowd was best, I feel, with the
type of "sci-fi" program he covered when he was on that
particular era of the show.
