(for some reason, this didn't go through the first time)

When I heard about the new book, "Sex on the Moon", it struck me how
arch-criminals steal very expensive items, to impress their
girlfriends by having sex on top. And I realized that we never really
know what Diabolik was going to do with all that gold. We can presume
that having sex was somehow involved. But how? Was it basically to
have a GOLDEN GROTTO to have sex in, which as it turned out was pretty
much what happened? :-)

Or maybe it was a Goldfinger-like, GOLD-PAINTED LOVERS situation?

There must be many more possibilities. What do *you* think?

Huh, peculiar. It did come through the first time, at least
to my Usenet server, although as The Rules dictate, I didn't get to
make the funniest response to it.

I guess it was just Google being slow in one particular area. I first
thought it might be a Spam filter that was objecting to GOLD, or SEX,
or worst of all, GOLD AND SEX! ;-)

P.S. I recently learned that the late President, and Supreme Court
Chief Justice (and potential SUPERBEING) William Howard Taft was
instrumental in founding THE LEAGUE TO ENFORCE PEACE! Given the
historical superheroes at theaters this summer, I just wonder if this
was a predecessor to any of those efforts. What were the superheroes
like in Taft's era?
