This is happening in my county, and people have been suspecting some
sort of illegality for some time. And the arrests are not over yet.
Local government in this area of Pennsylvania is so routinely and
thoroughly corrupt that it takes something of this magnitude to shock
people.
It's just too bad it took so long to get to this point, but it takes a
while to get the feds' attention, even longer for somebody to get up the
nerve to investigate sitting judges, and even longer for them to
painstakingly gather the evidence. Meanwhile kids who were brought in
for first-time loitering offenses were sent to boot camp for six months.
Yeah, the general view around here is that hangin's too good fer 'em.
