Hello,

I posted this on Lemon64 and comp.sys.cbm, please forgive me for
cross-posting, but I wanted to make sure as many C64 afficianados see
this as possible.

My brother and I wrote a game called "No Joker Poker" back in the
1980's. Our memory of the details seems to be fading a bit...but we
purchased an ad in a magazine (which we believe strongly was "Compute's
Gazette") sometime between 1983 and 1986. We sold a grand total of 10
copies. Our own copies and all our magazines were lost in a house
fire.

We are trying to find a copy of the magazine with our ad in it, which
would have mentioned the name "No Joker Poker", and the address was
Gilbert WV. Our 'company' was 'Interdimensional Software'.

ALSO, we are offering a **$100 reward for a working disk image** of the
game. The theory is that at least one (and probably more) of our 10
customers was a bootlegger and the game may have made its way out into
the wild. I've checked all the major game repositories I could find,
and so far no good. I'm hoping it will be in someone's private
collection.

It is possible that the game name got mangled into "Joker Poker" or
"Video Poker" as it got passed around.

All the card graphics were sprites, doubled in both width and height.
The title screen showed a cartoon joker, with a NO symbol (circle with
a strike across it). There is music playing in the background while
you play the game.

Any help finding the ad and/or the game would be greatly appreciated.

-John
