Hi,
would anyone have ripped apart their own c64 dtv yet, and taken some
pictures of the inside? any schematics?
Who makes the dtv's?...its amazing how they've compacted the cpu, roms and
circuitry into one chip, and so small
thanks,
nlcw.

Jeri Ellsworth (of C-1 fame) designed the hardware for Mammoth Toys. It's
not a *perfect* recreation of all the quirks and gimmicks of a 64, but has
most everything intact. This is probably more on-topic in comp.sys.cbm, and
you'll find some DTV-related threads there.

I'd say lots and lots of people (like me) have.

Yes, everything is available. Even an x-ray image of the chip.
Why not Google a bit? It's what I did when I got mine.

The ROM is an extra chip, as is the RAM.
