Hi...

I subscribed to this newsgroup a few days ago, hoping to find active demo
programmers for the C=64. But... I think I'm at the wrong newsgroup. :-(

Does anybody of you know which newsgroup I should attend?

Thanks,
Martijn

I think you are at the right newsgroup.
I can't find you old message though... anyway. This was not to answer your
question cause I'm not making programs to my 64' anymore, sorry.

comp.sys.cbm is the largest and most active C= group, and a number of
demo programmers read it regularly. However, you'll find even more
sceners in the CSDB forums. Check out http://noname.c64.org/csdb/

In addition to the CSDB, which MagerValp already mentioned, there's the
Lemon's Scene forum and the Driven Online forums.

http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
http://www.drivenonline.org/

For general C64 news, including the demo scene, there's http://www.c64.sk/

Also, the various Commodore IRC channels (#c-64 on efnet, and #c64friends on
irc.eskimo.com) are frequent hangouts for demo coders.

Regards,
Leif

And don't forget the largest one, #c-64 on ircnet :)

Thanx all for all the sugestions...

So, prolly... the most sceeners whom are actually creating new demos are on
IRC...
Too bad... I like newsgroups better... I'm always too late or too early on
the chatservers... missing out on all the interresting stuf... :-)
