Hi,
are any of you guys users of this particular emulator? (It runs on
Mac OS X) Just wanted to get some opinions if there are any out there.
Also, where might I find out how to get an original/or replica of my
old C64 joystick? Unfortunately i don't remember it's name, but it was
an old style one (straight-up stick with blob on the end) on a 'house'
shaped (imagine a square with a triangle on top) base and a single red
button. It worked so well, and was far superior to your Quickshot II
rubbish. Any ideas? Once I've got hold of one I might come back and ask
about how the heck I'm going to plug it into my emulated c64 - but
that' for another time.
Cheers,
Tom

Basically I could copy-paste what Cameron already wrote about Power64. I
can add only that I use Power64 if I want comfortable interface. If I
need max compatibility, especially with true floppy emulation, I still
use VICE.
P.S. The textual copy-paste between native OS and the emulated 64 is the
coolest way of typing in long listings I have ever seen... ;-)

One thing I was trying without success on the Power64 was using an
emulated Action Replay cartridge - Specifically, how do I press the
'Reset' button? I guess there might be a way of jumping to the
appropriate place via the built in Power64 monitor(which, to be fair is
better than what the Action Replay offered) - still, it would be nice
to use the AR's sprite hacking interface, which, if I remember
correctly, was pretty damn good.
Anyway, Power64 didn't seem to enjoy some of the action replay
instructions. I tried the same thing with an Expert Cartridge and a
couple of other bits and bobs, but without any luck.
