My Choice

1 Kid Chameleon
2 After Burner
3 Alyssia Dragoon
4 Altered Beast
5 M.U.S.H.A.

I would like to hear other comments on what great games you think from
Genesis past would be good on the current platforms . Plus maybe this
groupe could get some more read time . The Genny is my overall
favorite 16 bit console . It's a shame not much is being communicated
about the great games it had .

I would like to see XBLA re-releases akin to R-Type XBLA for any
of these. I would especially love Shinobi III done this way, but I'd
also take Strider, Revenge of Shinobi, Shadow Dancer, Golden Axe, Golden
Axe II, Mystic Defender, Sword of Vermillion, and well, the whole
Genesis library that anybody remembers liking really.
This new 2.5D remix approach ensures a degree of quality control
that Sega's XBLA and compilation releases does not. I get a little bit
more than if I just went on e-bay and bought the original. Stupid
people who think everything ought to be 3D get tricked into playing
great games. Everybody wins.

Please do me a favor and fix the typo in the first line. It should read
"..Sega's XBLA and compilations do not have". ;)

....if anything, just re-release it with some sort of save method and I'd
be happy.

> 2 After Burner

There's always AB Climax...but I don't think it's running on MAME just
yet...unless you've got a 50 billion dollar PC.

> 3 Alyssia Dragoon

Agreed. I always question whenever I hear anything bad about this one.

> 4 Altered Beast

You know it. The GBA sequel was damn good, imo, but some sort of 3D-ish
venture would be pretty good as well...just don't let Sega make it.

> 5 M.U.S.H.A.

There's always the Sega CD sequel to keep you busy while this never
happens. ;)

It's the usenet format...it's just dying off in general. People are
tired of the spam, crossposters and other experience-ruining entities
out there...they're heading to moderated forums for relief. Speaking of,
you're always welcome to join us at WAG Forums. :)

It's just about as dead...but at least it's blue! ;)
