I know this is a really old message (Nov 11 LOL) but I thought I
would answer this...

Yes I have done the quest 3 times on my Gauntlet IV. As for it
being a great party game. Oh yeah it was, Every friday night was
Gauntlet night. Where a few friends would come over to help beat the
quest. :D
