Yesterday, I tried to hook up digital RGB monitor to the multi-din
video output by connecting Digital R,G,B, Intensity, Horizontal sync.,
Vertical sync., and Ground with hacksawed 23 pin cable and jumper wires.
It didn't work!! I checked wiring hundred times, but all I got on the
monitor were several blue lines wandering over the screen. It didn't
hurt my TV/monitor.(Thank God!) Could anybody(Comodore) please tell me
how to connect digital RGB monitor to Amiga? My monitor is medium res. TV
with composite and digital RGB inputs(8 pins) made by Hitachi.
I am using this 20 inch TV/monitor as a composite monitor, But there
are two faint strips scrolling up the screen all the times(1 or 2 Hz).
Could anybody explain why this happens? (RF interference? Strong signal
from Amiga? Why Amiga is not UL listed? Wrong monitor?)
After these annoying experence, I decided to buy monochrome monitor.
(Why don't you buy that nice Amiga monitor? MONEY!!!) But I am still
wandering if those two faint strips(horizontal with height of 2 inch) show
up again. By the way, is it possible to hook up two monitors at the same
time by Y adapter or one composite and one RGB?

I would appreciate any comments about the above problems.
