It was an amusing film, but was certainly unreasonable.  I mean, would
*you* ever rig up a computer *you* had programmed so that you couldn't
turn it off and couldn't bypass it in any manner?

By the way, this was one of the films that we screened during the
early production phases of the first "Star Trek" movie (I was working
for the firm that was doing the special effects at the time) and
it helps to show where poor old "Vejur" got some of his inspiration.

(Don't blame me for ST-I!  I thought the script sucked.)
