The BBC announced yesterday (27th February 85) that no more episodes
of Dr. Who would be made for at least the next 18 months. Michael Grade
the new, and highly controversial, controller of BBC1 television said
the decision had been taken in order to allow the money saved to be
spent elsewhere. Since making the decision the BBC have been flooded
with calls from irate viewers and the Dr Who appreciation society.
If they are allowed to get away with this it could well spell the end
of Dr. Who for good and killing off a program with over 100 million
fans worldwide would be in keepin with the, to say the least, strange
decisions Mr. Grade has made so far. He has been forced to back down
before by the strength of public opinion and hopefully he will have to
do so yet again. NOW is the time for time travellers world wide to
write to the BBC in protest. The address is :

	The Controller
	BBC1 Television
	London
	United Kingdom

or alternatively go straight to the top and write to :

	The Director General
	British Broadcasting Corporation
	London
	U.K.

After 21 years they cant kill the Doctor now !
