I recall reading, several years ago, "The Soul of the Robot" by
Barrington J. Bayley.   It's out of print now, but would any kind
soul have a second-hand copy lying around and be willing to sell it?
The version I read was a hard-cover edition, but I'm sure I saw a 
soft-cover edition in a bookstore once.  Thanks in advance.
