What kind of problem? If you are trying to change a format line,
there are menu entries to do this - you can't type onto the format
line itself. Text will not automatically readjust to a new format
line; you have to rejustify the text (use the JUSTIFY key).

Do you have the correct driver installed for your printer. You also
have to have the right interface (serial or parallel) selected.

I haven't worked with data bases other than to walk myself through
their tutorial and how-to documentation. As I recall, some of the
work is more easily done through a sheet window; in fact, this is
what you should use to create a data base. Sorry I can't be of
more help.

It really does sound like you don't have the right printer driver
installed (or selected).
