The following termcap seems to work. It doesn't do much but it is
better than nothing. Also make sure you don't have ANSI.SYS loaded in
because it really barfs up the program and the screen.

Since there seem to be a number of 1000 owners out there, I thought I'd
post this:

tK|t1k|1000|Tandy 1000 running DeskMate:\
   :am:bc=\ED:xt:co#80:li#21:ho=\EH:up=\EA:do=\EB:nd=\EC:cm=\EY%+!%+ :\
   :cl=^L:

Basically, this is a minimal termcap for a subset of the Videotext
standard. Two items are worth pointing out however:

1) The backspace key seems to be somewhat destructive. That is the reason
for the 'bc=\ED' entry.

2) The top line of the display is used as a status line and is protected.
The normal sequence for moving to the top line actually moves to the second
line of the display- unfortunately, so does an attempt at moving to the
second line. To get around this, we play around with the row offsets so
that the top line of the screen is actually the second line of the display.

This termcap entry should be enough for some programs, anyway.
