My problems:
The initial program I wrote, I developed (tested) using one of our
UCSD unix systems. (That is a no no because it becomes property of
The University of California Regents.)
Well, seeing that It would belong to them and not to me, I dumped
that version and rewrote it (bigger and better.[More on that]).
So, I face a dillema. I want to US mail it, but there's a catch... I
have to start a little distribution house. So I will be doing
legal paperwork for a month or so. I'll probably require some $
for my costs and what not. I'll post the address and the details soon.
Specs:
Software interupt driven modem routines,
Reverse and forward scrolling
Insert / Delete line
Screen Dump
Inverse / Normal characters
Capture buffer
Capture buffer print and save to disk
Auto Dialing (for Hayes smartmodem and compatibles)
Redialing (User must initiate)
Dialing "phone book"
Possibles: (Depending on my class load and ambition)
Definable function keys (10 [open apple 0-9])
Transmit text file directly into vi.
Any other suggestions? (I'm not ambitious enough to put the kermit
protocol in, but I might be persuaded.)
Have any of you set up a home-business before? I'd like to hear from
you.
