Whenever a PC-Compatible machine comes out, the most common test to
prove how compatible it actually is seems to invariably be
Microsoft's Flight Simulator game.

Just what does this program do that makes it so picky about the
hardware it runs on?

While were at it, what grody tricks do other picky programs pull
that make them fail on so-called "compatibles"?
