Politely, I think you need to read the documentation. Almost all of the
questions you asked are answered there.

You also need to make sure you are using the most current version; a Safari
import bug was corrected some time ago. See
http://tenfourfox.tenderapp.com/discussions/problems/298-saf air-bookmarks-wont-migrate
There is a workaround on that page you can try.
