A friend of mine works for company that runs a VAX with VMS
along with a number of IBM PCs. They are looking for software
to run on one or more of the above machines to help them
manage their fleet of vehicles. The company is a medium sized
architectural engineering firm, but I don't have the specifics
on their fleet size, etc. I am sure they would be willing to
pay a fair price for something that is already developed and
working in another company. They want to keep track of things
like maintenance schedules, mileage and gas consumption, and
probably reservation/checkout/checkin transactions for the people
who use the vehicles.
Any leads would be appreciated. If you are a potential vendor,
I will put you in touch with their management consultant.
